I don’t feel like I need it since I went pretty light on the cardio this weekend and haven’t lifted since Thursday… but today would be Day 7 of working out without a day off… and I kind of want to go to the gym after work and run.

Going to do some research but wondering your thoughts.

  1. timandfern answered: It is good to give your muscles a rest to prevent soreness but otherwise it doesn’t matter.
  2. dorianandmaine answered: Listen to your body. If you feel alright to go, do so. Just make sure you focus on recovery post-workout :)
  3. heavenhasnoroof answered: tbh, i don’t care if i’ve had a whole week without rest.. if my body doesn’t hurt, then i don’t rest…
  4. rachelhousle answered: You need rest to build muscle. Working out will break muscles down unless your body has time and rest to regenerate those cells.
  5. beautifulbeforebeautifulafter answered: if your muscles are sore and need time to re-build, rest. or go on a nice long walk, they burn more calories then youd think!
